Sometimes you walk into a bathroom and there is not a space for hand towels. Do you really want to dry your hands on the towel that they are using after a shower? If you decided to use a multi-colored shower curtain, you can pull one of the background colors out of that. If you chose a solid color, go with a light neutral color that will accentuate the color of the shower curtain.
